What Is a Healthy Board?

Many organizations and nonprofits are managed by boards, including the IDA. A high-performing board has board members who bring skills, expertise and insight to their roles and contribute to the organization’s common goal.

A healthy board has:

A mix of stable (long term) and new members
Diversity of members
A balance of skill and experience levels

Congratulations to Jennifer Jordan of Jennifer Jordan Interior Design Inc. for winning the masi Silver Special Projects award for their work on the River Cree Resort & Casino Embers Gaming Entertainment.

This gaming entertainment expansion project takes inspiration from the natural patterns and dramatic textures of the surrounding First Nations landscape, creating a memorable guest journey and telling a story about cultural heritage through pattern, color, texture, light and ambiance.
