Challenges and Solutions Associated with Making Existing and Historical Buildings More Accessible

Nov 9th, 2022 | 12:00pm - 1:30pm

Understanding the historical significance of a building will be the necessary driver to design with the historical value of the building in the forefront of your mind. Accessibility can easily become a part of your beautiful interiors while maintaining authenticity. Barrier-free Administrator for Alberta Municipal Affairs, Linnie Tse, will help designers gain an understanding of retaining historical value while still being able to highlight accessibility for all and authenticity of the spaces you are working with.
